Terms of Service

The plain-English rules for using Bond. No gotchas — just what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

These terms cover the Bond Chrome extension, this website, and Bond accounts, all made by Covalent Studios. By installing the extension or creating an account, you're agreeing to them.

Your account

Free accounts are free forever. You're responsible for keeping your login and Bond key to yourself — a key is for one person on one device at a time. If you think your key has been compromised, email us and we'll issue a new one.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Bond Pro is billed through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel anytime from your account page. You keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for; we don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods.
  • If something went wrong — you were double-charged, or Pro never activated — email us and we'll make it right.
  • Prices may change, but never mid-cycle and never without email notice before your next renewal.

Your content

Your reference library — everything you save, tag, and capture — is yours. It lives in your browser, and we claim no ownership over it. You're responsible for making sure your use of saved material (for treatments, decks, or anything else) respects the rights of whoever made it.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no reselling or sharing keys, no scraping or hammering our API, no using Bond to break the terms of the sites you save from, and no attempting to bypass plan limits. We can suspend accounts that do, though we'll reach out first unless the abuse is blatant.

Our stuff

The Bond extension, website, name, and logo belong to Covalent Studios. Your subscription gives you a license to use them, not ownership of them.

No warranties, limited liability

Bond is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will never break, and sites we save from (Vimeo, Instagram, and the rest) change things without warning. To the fullest extent the law allows, Covalent Studios isn't liable for indirect damages or lost data, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last twelve months.

Ending things

You can stop using Bond and delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue Bond entirely, we'll give paid subscribers notice and refund any unused portion of their subscription.

Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top and email account holders before the changes take effect.
